She’s so groovy, she was named 2020 Beat-Making Champion by Beatz By Girls and months later, she dropped, Mtima Rising, a sonic mix through grief, love and joy fusing drums from home with magnetic electronic chords on a heavy bass.
Her performance experience spans festivals, clubs, colleges, collectives, livestreams and other gatherings dating as far back as 2011. Chmba Ellen Chilemba is a Music Producer, DJ and Activist. She is the Founder of Tiwale, a community center in Malawi supporting girls/women and nonbinary folks through art, education and economic opportunities with 400 community members and having reached 22,000+ youth in campaigns.
